In the beginning
South western township
Created
Apartheid's footstool
Outcasts' kraal
Generations
Ostracized
Brutalized
Jettisoned
Maligned
Wasted
Unwanted
Lachrymal fields boiling
Stoical intercessions ascending
Anguish amplified
Redemptive eclipse magnified
God smiled
Time winked
Mandela waved
Soweto saved
Today alive
Colourful
Ambient
The Enamelled ebony
Refulgent
Sophisticated
Oozing eclectic charm
The Bejewelled bride
Strutting her stuff
Comfortable in her own skin

Awww, brilliant ode to A township and her past. Took my breath away (and brought me close to my dictionary!) ;)
Thanks KFC.
Good to see you love the piece.
Thanks NY for the positive comments. You are ever so positive.
Thanks again!
I like this Posekyere - am actually now reading ' the only Black at a Dinner party' by Eric Minyeni. Both works - your and his - came together to create a positive and vibrant image about SA. I look forward to more pieces like this one
Thanks Denise.
Eric Minyeni is an interesting character.
I'll see to it that I write more about SA.
